History of Bhavan's

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was established in 1938, when India was rediscovering herself politically, socially and culturally. The Bhavans aims to preserve and perpetuate eternal Indian values through its conglomerate of more than 117 educational and cultural institutions. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family.

Committed to this ideal of the Bhavan, The Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri began its service to education on the 2nd of August 1993 with 131 students. Since then, it has never looked back. We can today boast of a vibrant campus and milieu conducive to not only teaching and learning, but also to the development of the future citizens of our country.
